🥚 2 large eggs (separated)

🍚 3 tbsp granulated sugar

🍦 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Coffee Layer:

☕ 1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled)

🍾 2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)

For the Ladyfingers & Topping:

🍪 200g ladyfinger biscuits (Savoiardi)

🍫 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

🍬 Dark chocolate shavings (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Mascarpone Cream 🍶

1️⃣ In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks with sugar until pale and creamy.

2️⃣ Add mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth.

3️⃣ In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

4️⃣ Gently fold the egg whites into the mascarpone mixture.

Step 2: Dip the Ladyfingers 🍪

1️⃣ Pour coffee (and liqueur, if using) into a shallow dish.

2️⃣ Quickly dip each ladyfinger in coffee for 1-2 seconds (don’t soak too much!).

Step 3: Assemble the Tiramisu 🍰

1️⃣ Arrange a layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers in a dish.

2️⃣ Spread half of the mascarpone cream over them.

3️⃣ Repeat with another layer of ladyfingers and top with the remaining cream.

4️⃣ Cover and chill for at least 4 hours (overnight is best for rich flavor).

Step 4: Add the Final Touch 🍫

1️⃣ Before serving, dust cocoa powder over the top.

2️⃣ Add chocolate shavings for extra flavor.

✨ Tips for the Best Tiramisu:

✔ Use fresh mascarpone for a creamy texture 🥄.

✔ Don’t over-soak the ladyfingers to prevent sogginess 🍪.

✔ Chill overnight for deeper flavors ❄️.

✔ Want an egg-free version? Use whipped cream instead of egg whites 🎂.
