How to Make the Perfect Grilled Cheese Sandwich

 A grilled cheese sandwich is one of the easiest and most delicious comfort foods. With crispy, buttery bread and gooey melted cheese, it’s a simple meal that never fails to satisfy. In this blog post, I’ll show you how to make the perfect grilled cheese at home!


Ingredients (Serves 1)

2 slices of bread (white, sourdough, or whole wheat)

2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)

1 tbsp butter (softened)

1 tsp mayonnaise (optional, for extra crispiness)


Instructions

Step 1: Butter the Bread

Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. If using mayonnaise, spread a thin layer on top of the butter for extra crispiness.

Step 2: Assemble the Sandwich

Place one slice of bread butter-side down in a pan.

Add the cheese slices on top.

Place the second slice of bread on top, butter-side up.

Step 3: Cook the Sandwich

Heat a pan over low to medium heat.

Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip carefully.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and the bread is crispy.

Step 4: Serve and Enjoy!

Remove from heat, let it cool for a minute, then slice and enjoy!
