🍚 Arancini Recipe – Crispy Italian Rice Balls 🇮🇹

Arancini are crispy, golden-fried Italian rice balls stuffed with cheese, meat, or vegetables. These delicious Sicilian snacks are perfect for appetizers or a light meal. Let’s make them step by step!




🛒 Ingredients

For the Rice:

2 cups Arborio rice 🍚

4 cups chicken or vegetable broth 🥣

½ cup Parmesan cheese (grated) 🧀

2 tbsp butter 🧈

½ tsp salt 🧂

For the Filling (Classic Cheese & Meat):

1 cup Mozzarella cheese (cubed) 🧀

½ cup cooked ground beef 🥩

½ cup marinara sauce 🍅

¼ cup peas (optional) 🌿

For Breading & Frying:

1 cup all-purpose flour 🌾

2 large eggs (beaten) 🥚

2 cups breadcrumbs 🍞

Vegetable oil for frying 🛢️

Step 1: Cook the Rice 🍚

1️⃣ In a pot, bring broth to a boil and add Arborio rice.

2️⃣ Cook until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is soft.

3️⃣ Stir in butter, Parmesan, and salt. Let it cool completely.


Step 2: Prepare the Filling 🍅🧀

4️⃣ Mix cooked beef, marinara sauce, and peas in a bowl.

5️⃣ Cut Mozzarella into small cubes.


Step 3: Shape the Arancini 🔵

6️⃣ Take a small handful of cooled rice and flatten it.

8️⃣ Wrap the rice around the filling, forming a ball.


Step 4: Coat the Arancini 🍞
